Yuma County Sheriff Chad Day announced Yuma High School senior Faith Alt as this year’s recipient of the County Sheriffs of Colorado $500 scholarship. CSOC established the scholarship program in 1978. Sheriff Day and CSOC considers this a tangible expression of Sheriff’s commitment to education and training.
Alt was unanimously selected by a citizen’s committee appointed by Sheriff Day from among all Yuma County applicants. She will be attending Colorado State University, majoring in botany or Ag business. Congratulations to Ms. Alt.
