Fingerprinting

Fingerprinting is conducted by appointment. Please schedule an appointment at the time you drop off your application, or call us to schedule an appointment at (970) 332-4805.

Submit Application

Submit your application in-person to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office at 310 Ash Street, Suite G, Wray.

Take a Photo

A new photo will be taken the same time you submit your application.

Pay a Fee

A fee of $102.50 is due when your application is submitted. Your application is then mailed to the CBI for a background check. Once clearance is received from CBI, the Sheriff’s Office will print the permit and notify the permittee that the card is available for pick up or may be mailed.

Mandatory Permit Maintenance

You must notify the Sheriff’s Office of an address change within 30 days.

You must also notify the Sheriff’s Office three business days after your permit is lost, stolen, or destroyed. The fee to replace the permit is $15.00.

Complete Application
